Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone here has ever used Adaroma to sell their used photography equipment? If so, what were they like to deal with? The reason I am asking this question is because I sent my Canon Rebel G and other equipment to the almost a month ago for appraisal and now I can't seem to get in touch with them. They won't return my emails or phone calls and I am actually starting to get rather concerned about my equipment. All I want is for them to either give me a price as to what they are will to give me for the equipment or send my equipment back to me. If anyone has had any dealings with them in the past please give me some advice as to what I should do.
Thank you very much for your help,
Bryant

Nope. Can't help here. But I did buy something from them before.

benny,
I finally got in touch with another gentlman at Adoram today and he did at least confirm my equipment was there and safe. I eplained the situation to him and he said the guy who I had been trying to reach was out today but to call back in the morning at 10:00 and he would personally track him down for me. Man, I was really starting to get worried about my equipment. Here I am wanting to buy about $2200 worth of lenses and flashes from someone and they sure haven't made a very good "First Impression". I think I will probably go with B&H Photo anyway unless Adorama really comes through to make up for all of this mess.
Thanks for your reply,
Bryant

I would have sent it to keh.com instead - all my photographer buddies send their stuff there - much more reliable it seems.
what kind of equipment do you have? I might be interested in some of it :)

Hello meriadoc,
I will check out the website which you gave me if I EVER get my equipment back from Adorama.
As far as equipment goes I have the following:
1) Canon EOS Rebel G SLR camera body
2) Canon Zoon Lens EF 35-80mm 1:4-5.6 III, 52mm Dia.
3) Canon Zoon Lens EF 80-200mm 1:4.5-5.6 II, 52mm Dia.
4) Canon Speedlite 200E Flash
All of this equipment is in "Brand New" Condition without a mark anywhere on any item. I am very particular with my equipment so it has ALWAYS been very well maintained. I even still have the original 3 piece lens cleaning kit with cleaning solution and Owner's Manual.
I know this sounds crazy but I place the lens covers right back on the lens as soon as I shoot the picture so my lenses have never really even been dirty, although I have cleaned them a few times.
I have owned the camera for a number of years, bought it brand new, and have probably shot less than 20 rolls of film through it and most of them was recently. I just recently found the time to start doing much photography, which I have always wanted to do. It sure make it more feasible now that I have digital. I have noticed I have been averaging around 80 photos per day now. I just love my new digital camera.
Thanks for your help,
Bryant

Hello Everyone,
I put a posting in the But/Sell/Trade category on this forum in case anyone is interested in what equipment I have for sale.
Thanks Again,
