Hey guys,

As the topic, I'm looking to purchase a used/new macro lens that you guys have to offer or no longer need. This will mainly be for taking fish/aquascape photo.

Please post your offers.

Thanks
Ken

Ken, 100mm macro is what you need, and you wont find anyone here selling it because that is the lens that is used almost 100% of the time for everyone who's got it for aquatic photography. Check out new ones, compare bhphoto and buydig and / and look for canon's rebates that they issue every year for buying 2 or more lenses. Other than that, used ones on sites like fredmiranda.com go for very close to new prices and you should probably just buy new to avoid problems.

It's the one I have XPLOSV. I bought mine from http://www.d-d-photographics.com.au/index.htm

Now all I need is to learn how to use it properly

Hey Shake, good to see your on here too.

Is this the one you got?

CANON 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens

The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 macro lens is a totally new version. Focusing over the full range from infinity down to life size (1:1 reproduction ratio), this lens will impress any serious photographer with its image quality, high- performance ring-type ultrasonic motor, and silent autofocus throughout its focus range. This lens allows full-time manual focusing--permitting the close-up or macro shooter to instantly override the autofocus whenever necessary.

yes, fredmiranda.com buy/sell area is very good, I have NEVER EVER had a problem with it. But honestly that lens goes for almost the same price as new in great condition. And you dont get the warranty, so why not just buy the new one.

So the lens arrived 2days ago but I haven't get a chance to play with it yet.

Now I need 8GB memory card as the current 3x1GB not sufficient for my snapping.

any one know where I can get it cheap in AUS or international post available?
