No, They never spawned.
Thanks for the compliments. I'm trying to get a new pic of the male as he is ten times more colorful and his dorsal rays are very long. TOo bad he keps hiding when the camera comes out [smilie=biggrin.gif]

I had an apisto exactly like that too.
