I am haveing problems with uploading pics. I am not sure if it is because we have dial up? It doesn't seem to matter which web site I am on, I can't seem to get it done right. Maybe I am just being.. well... stupid? :shock: Not only am I learning photography I am learning how to upload my pics ont a web site. Is there a good place for a newbie to go that is very user freindly? It always says there isn't enough space to load a picture. Any ideas?

If it's saying there isn't enough space to load a picture what size is the image file you're trying to upload? Whichever web-site may you're trying to upload to may have a file size limit. Did you try re-sizing images to make them smaller?
Keep the original picture in high res of course 8)

I have no idea what the size of the photo is :shock: How do I find that out? I'm sorry, I am still learning all this technical stuff! :oops: That's why I am afraid of going digital!

I use http://www.photobucket.com - it's free, gives unlimited (I beleive so) space, and if your picture is too big, it automatically resizes it. Also, you might not be using the right file format (.jpg, .bmp, .gif, ect). There are several things that could be happening. Do you have your computers networked by chance or have a firewall on your computer? If you can answer any of these it would help a lot to solve your problem, if you can't just let me know, i'll help with what I can. :)

My computer is a home computer, so it's not network. I do have a firewall on it. I am not sure what file format I am useing though? Does that help any? I will check out the site that you recomended.

Yep, that helps. Sometimes firewalls block uploads, but not normally. Try that site and let me know how it goes. We had problems when we first put all of our home computers on a network because of network difficulties and the such.
