hey dixon

I just looked at the review of your camera. It's very basic, and does lack the manual features which are very important to getting good Aquatic pics. Being able to set your shutter speed and aperature does help a lot. re: flash, it says that the camera has the following modes: Auto, On, Red-eye reduction, Slow, Off. So OFF should work for you.

Lighting is the key also to getting your pics crisper and being able to use automatic cameras, because the cameras try to use the biggest shutter speed and that is usually the reason for blurry pics. You can lower the shutter speed on auto mode by providing more light. Try using several strips on top of the tank, or one better quality (power compact high wattage) strip. Try to follow these rules and take a few pics, show them to us here.

thats is basically what i thought as i have tried to turn flash off and due to what you confirmed is the light issue (i have one tube) it still flashed.
i will be setting up my new tank shortly so will buy a full new lighting set up then take a few shots and see what happens from there.
i know the camera is basic i actually bought it for taking watersports shots from a boat and it fits in my waterproof bag i never really thought about the fish picture aspect.
