Meg's GT Pic a neatimage study

A bit too much because of the auto settings, and also, I think, because of choosing the wrong piece for your sample, probably using the face, when you should only use a piece of background.

Here is my attempt. I did put it into photoshop and cleaned it up a bit, selecting the fish, doing a sharpen command on it, then reverse selection and doing a blur command. Then in Neat image, I played with the settings a bit taking down noise reductions on different size noise, and on diff. channels by 10 - 15%.

Looks much better! I did use the face on neatimage [smilie=doh.gif] I'll try it your way on a different picture, I don't think I could do any better than you did! Thanks for the tips! [smilie=bowdown.gif]

I noticed by looking at all of yours I "enhanced" the colors a bit! Busted! I'm trying to keep it more "natural" from now on [smilie=lol.gif] By the way, Dude, love the extra light, looks like the sun was shining! My GT would be thrilled that so many people were interested in fixing up his pic, he is a camera hog! [smilie=thumbup.gif]

what's funny is that perrush (whoever they are) keeps signing on, posting, then deleting their account. Done at least 2 times already. Not a member currently.

multiple times too. Not just once. He's ghost-posting in different places here at different times, each time removing the acc. I have thought of praising him on the great job he did on the GT pic, really truly professional, but there is no way to reach him. And in another forum, he has given valid and knowledgeable advice and comments, also. Seems like someone who belongs here but .... Dont understand. Anyways [smilie=oops2.gif]

I think I never made an account, I just posted as a guest, but filled in my name on top of the form. Certainly never deleted anything I subscribed for.
