I took this something like two weeks ago, it along with most of the other pictures in the shoot came out blurry and had the flash reflecting off the glass. I was wondering if it is possible to fix the flash reflection through editing/tweaking, if it can be done I figured this would make a good example for everyone else who has problems with the flash reflection =)

She was holding for about a week at the time of the photo, she is currently still holding and it looks like she'll be spitting them out any day now.

So can this picture be salvaged? Or should I just scrap it?

Thanks,

Jim

Okay, I did my best! I'm sure someone else can do better, but here's what I did:
Photoshop:
cropped the majority of the flash out
Selected the holding fish
sharpened 2 times
inverse selected (background)
blurred 2 times
despeckled one time
color adjustments:
shadows: +10 on blue, +5 on magenta
Midtones: nothing
Highlights: +10 on yellow

Meg, the fish still looks abit over-exposed under the eyes. Maybe can try a little on the burn tool?

That was about the extent of my talent with photoshop, I was hoping someone else could do better? *Hint, hint* [smilie=lol.gif]
