Neat Image (www.neatimage.com)

IF you dont have this software, you are missing out. I was told about it by Fredrik on Pfish, and immediately downloaded it. I have been using it since then on any images that showed noise to remove it smoothly without doing manual work that came out uneven anyways. Here are a couple of examples:

So this is easier to use than, say, photoshop? I get so frustrated with trying to figure out how to use that feature only to be dissatisfied with the results.

You should def. download and try this thing. It's really fast download and an easy program to use, with many add. settings you can tweak with, but to start it's really 3 mouse clicks and you are done. It's very specialized to basically bluring the background elements to make foreground stand out. It works well on some pics, and messes too much on others. Try it, it's FREE.

SO if i use this "neat immage" thing it will remove glare and maybey reflections from you T-shirt logo's from the picture??

B/c the pics i postd along time ago on ORU you can see the Ecko name reflected off the glass. The camera picked it up but i was was using some cheap ass camera.

Thanks Paradise, I got the Neat Image and as a near ~total incompetent~ on computers, I can personally vouch for it's ease of use.

It also helped me understand what it's doing, so when I wanted to do more, I had a better understanding of the same tasks on my more complicated software.

glad to hear that, jenly. Play with it, dont trust it's auto settings. You know you can do lots of manual adjustments if it does not do enough or too much.

just the download from the size. It's actually free for personal use, but does not have some of the batch features.
