I was curious, to see what some of you guys have your color settings set
to. I will post mine when I get home. The reason I ask is because at work,
Some pictures look bright, and at home, they look Good.

you are not alone, every monitor is different. I have a calibrated monitor at home, and one that is default at work. and all the pics look weird between them. If I do pics at home (calibrated) they look too dark and oversaturated at work. If I do them at work, they look all washed out at home. Same w/other peoples' pics.

This is why I thank the lord every day that the military gave us Linguists LCD monitors at work so we don't go blind reading the transcription on an old CRT!!!!

Did I mention they're top of the line 17" Self-calibrating LCD's??? :cheesy: :cheesy:

But hey, thats the trade in for being told what to do for 6 years of my life, haha.

mmmmm self calibrating.....

course, i gotta calibrate between monitor, camera, scanner and printer....

that in itself can be a royal pita

ESPECIALLY when you use a laptop!

I did calibrate my monitor, however, when I print the photo by paper, the color seems to be over vibrant.

You may need to calibrate your printer as well.
