I wanted to tell you guys I love this site. I think it is a great idea and is one of the only fish photo sites out there. The one thing that I think you might want to add more to is your fish stuff.

What I mean is that there are other great fish sites out there. SOme are specific to the fish type like cichlids. SOme are specific to the water type and some are just all-round fish sites.

IF you guys had more links more fourm topics for different types of fish. I am talking about having topics for types of fis, types of tanks, types of plants- from deseases to colors to breading. Well if you incorporated more of that then you might get more visitors to the site.


Just a suggestion. I realize it requires work but I am sure there are fish lovers out there that would be more than willign to help.

jason, like you said, there are tons of fish sites, of every kind. What is different between us and them, is that we are also a photography site. Let them worry about breeding, feeding and keeping. We just want to help people take pics of them. Putting up 3 pages worth of forums, would just dilute the main point of this forum. Yes, we want more members, but only those who care about taking pics. :)

Some of us think we already have too many folders :)

I understand that. And I realize the main topic of this site is photos. And that is what makes you different. And I realize that you guys want to keep it simple. But I have a feeling that a lot of people run across this site while looking up facts on their fish and what not. And well if you had a little more sustenance on the fish side of it you might get more people to stay with your site and become members.

Please don't take this the wrong way - But I see the mentality more as trying to get people to join who are interested in photography and people who are already taking pictures. I think with a few more links and pages and topics that you might be able to get people who never really thought about taking pictures to become more interested in it.

Again these are just my theories.
