Hmm..... I like that cool blue effect. What lighting are you using?

ccplim, the big Oscar is about 13-14" and the smaller one is still close to 9". The guy has a 125g with the 2 Oscars, a Clown Knife, a Liposarcus, and 2 Tinfoil Barbs. One of the Barbs is almost as big as the larger Oscar!! It's CRAZY!!

OMG! That's big. How big is the clown knife and liposarcus?

ccplim, the lighting was just the regular single bulb hood light (one on each side) I didn't bring my "shoplights" over, but it worked out okay, I think. Then Clown is about 18-20" and the Liposarcus is about 12".

God! You had a big knife in your tank [smilie=lol.gif]

It's not my tank, I would never have that many HUGE fish in one tank! [smilie=lol.gif] It's our friend's tank, he had one large oscar, a pleco and a couple barbs in there, decided it was boring (already stocked to the limit, IMO) and went out and got another oscar and the clown knife. So far so good, but it's only been about a week, so we'll see. I thought I should pop over and get some pics before he had to take any of them back! [smilie=biggrin.gif]

I actually saw that in the title. But some how in the process of replying, I slowly drifted and thought that the tank was yours [smilie=lol.gif]

CDM, yes they are, he really lucked out with those two guys, it's actually a really nice setup too, but he doesn't photograph it EVER, so there is alot of junk on the inside of the glass, it only shows up a little on the last pic (the black stuff), but we've got WHOLE mess of them that we didn't post that have that junk all over them, It was mostly at the end, the other end was beautiful.

Albino oscars on black background and substrate. Very striking!!

If I may suggest, the crop on the first 3 pictures are a little too tight. Give the fish a bit of space and it may look even better, like the forth picture.

Cheers,

I think we cropped it pretty tight cause they were hanging out at the very top of the water, and there was a glare from the light...also, our friend doesn't keep his tank as clean as most folks, algae and crap all over the inside of the glass, so we were cutting that out too. Maybe I'll take my scrubber over there and get some more pics! [smilie=fear2.gif] [smilie=biggrin.gif]

You'll be surprised how much time you can save in photoshop if you invest 15 mins in cleaning up before you shoot.

It's a 125gallon tank!!! (and it's not ours). We didn't really go over there prepared to take a real photo session. I showed him about 125 pictures today at work and he wants us to come over again. Told him, "if you will fill your tank to the frame and scrub the algae (or let Meg do it), we'll shoot 'em again.

The background that he has on that tank is actually dark blue, but since it is so deep it just showed up as black.

Those albino's are very cool looking fish!!

Thanks for the feedback on the photo's you guys are great!!

You friend will be real happy to heard that (a free cleaning service for his tank) [smilie=lol.gif]

I always joke that the "fish services division" should come confiscate his tanks and fish! [smilie=lol.gif] He treats his fish really well, but a little more maintenance would be nice! [smilie=fear2.gif] [smilie=lol.gif]

True. Maintenance is also an important part of fish keeping.
