"CHALLENGES" idea

as we all know there were some ideas about themed contests etc. i think we could have a lot of fun with the idea. we could do "challenges". what i mean is, we could have a challenge for people to produce images based upon a theme (voted theme or not doesn't really matter). these challenges could be NON-CONTEST challenges, meaning there is no winner. just a challenge for people to get out there and be creative with their photography. being that this wouldn't be a contest - there would be no deadline, and no absolute requirement for participation. it could be something like -- "CHALLENGE:COLORS" for example. and people could interpret however they want. of course it should be a challenge topic that IS open to interpretation, and not something like "house". but then even "house" could be shown in a different light(a bird nest or a matchbox..etc). i think people might find it fun to accept these challenges, and perhaps learn a lesson in finding their creative side. i know i would. just food for thought. they could even post their images right there in the thread.

As a matter of fact, this subject is in fact being discussed at the moderator's level at the moment and we are fine tuning the concept before presenting the idea to the members.

Good job, Hiro, you are definitely thinking on the same wavelength as us here. lol, benny isn't it funny how it's almost the same exact thing we were talking about ??? And it is something we SHOULD definitely do, I love it :) Let's discuss seriously in the MOD area and announce like YOU wanted to, start writing it :) :)
