i Finally Got CICHLIDS!!!

Yup, I finally got some money, And I Bought me Some Cichlids.
Firemouths! Ive been saying for the longest, i was going to buy some cichlids, and i finally did!!!
i know, there not guapotes or nothing, but hey, a cichlid is a cichlid.

these were shot without flash, at a VERY VERY low shutter 1/8 with an F-stop 2.0

the little guy has nice colors, even on the head part, like SEVS!!

really nice coloring on the one with the red spot on his head. Grow them well. Are they both boys? they may be very aggro to each other, firemouths are usually that way.

Im not sure if there males or females.
Never was too good at that, just at the convicts [smilie=biggrin.gif]
The bigger one was the dominant one, the other one had nice coloring.
If they due turn out to both be male, I will split them up, plan on buyigng a 100 Gal soon for
my Piranhas.

Congrats for the cool firemouth. Heard it's aggressive!? As for the shutter at 1/8, you must have steady hands to take sharp pic like that..... oh...... I see your age is 20!!!

Jay Luto: The firemouths or the piranhas?
I dont plan on breeding the Piranhas...The firemouths on the other hand, if i have a pair, cool. But its not something that i actually had in mind when i bought them
But i might try something like that later on in the future

Take the photos frequently so you can monitir their growth and color changes, very interesting to look at in a year or so.
