Hi everyone,
I am new here and my name is Craig. I love coral reef aquaria and I currently own two nanoreefs. I just purchased two bower lenses for my nikon 4300, an dI got them really cheap. Are these good lenses? If not, what are some good lenses/websites for the nikon 4300? You guys are great! Thanks for the help!

You can get wide-angle, fisheye, and telephoto lenses. 4300 supports the Macro Cool Light, which is a ring light made just for macro shots. You'll need a conversion lens adapter to use the Cool Light as well as the accessory lenses. A wired remote control and a slide copier are also available.
(Note: 4300 requires special adapters)

Wow! That's some fancy attachments! Betcha they don't come cheap too.
I'm impressed by the ability to attache a macro light/flash. I don't see the hot shoe!
Cheers,

I don't know about the 4300, but the 995 looks a bit alike and that one has a tiny screw cap at theundeside of the lens part of the camera. You can attach a hot shoe by cable there. It's item AS-E900 and looks like this: [http://a1672.g.akamai.net/7/1672/116/20041201/www.ritzcamera.com/graphics/ritzcamera/products/541531323.jpg]http://a1672.g.akamai.net/7/1672/116/20041201/www.ritzcamera.com/graphics/ritzcamera/products/541531323.jpg
But you might ge able to connect the macro flash directly to the connectiont hough.

Stupid me, I assumed the pictures above were the 4300  I checked the features of the 4300 and I don't think it has the connection I described, sorry.

While the CP4300 supports the macro Cool-light flash, you can't use a regular external flash with it.
So no connection for an external flash, but somehow the macro flash can work. Probably slaves the camera's flash.

i believe the ring flash has it's own batteries and stays on when you turn it on. i could be wrong.
