Canon S500 Zoom Feature

Majority of all pics that I take when I use the zoom feature is blurry. Is it suppose to be like this or is there a way to correctly adjust it? Thanks in advance.

hi Tim, try using a faster shutter speed. you may have to go manual mode for this. if you have shutter priority mode, try it out. your camera should adjust apeture based on shutter speed and light availability in shutter priority mode for a more correct exposure.

Thanks bro. I've tried, still seem to be the same. One more question for ya bro, how is it possible to get the clearity of my capture in manual mode. My photos taken in manual mode seem to always have noise.

i think probably because you are exceeding the cameras capabilities. if you set the shutter too high, the lens aperture will go the largest it can go. when that doesn't provide enough light, the camera is probably increasing iso for stronger light sensitivity. what are you shooting and under what type of lighting conditions?
