View Full Version : Sunset Harbor Poenix
I thought sunset is the most beautiful scenery. However, there was one day, I visited Harbor Poenix (about 20 mins drive) with my colleague to enjoy the sunset. We took some shots, well actually almost 2x 128 MS card, until the sun fell below the horizon. There were still some space left in the MS card, I found nothing to shoot then. We packed up and ready to go home. However, we were having a chat about the office affairs, the sky was getting dimm. Guess that's the end. However, the sky color turned brighter back with even gorgeous color. Glad we didn't leave earlier. I took out my camera and deleted some former shots, and took about 20 shots of " THE FAT LADY SING" (ID4). Now, I know there's some scene after the sun fall under.

The picture showing the afterglow has absolutely glorious colors. As for the first two, varying the position of the subject by placing it off centre may be even more impactful.
In any case, these are great pictures and how I wish I can see these from where I live.

I was too attracted by the color and forgot the composition stuffs. Actually, the 2nd pic was cropped from the 1st pic. I might go back there someday later to take more shots, it's just 20 mins drive from my office.
Since the resolution is high enough, perhaps an off centre portrait crop might be interesting. Just for the fun of it.

Planning to already (my first stop will be the zoo [smilie=laugh.gif] ). Actually wanted to go last week but the past 2 weeks have been real wet over here.
