Hi guys,

I don't usually get my picture taken as I'm behind the camera most of the time. Anyway, here's a recent photo of me.

http://aquaticquotient.com/aq_gallery/data/event/199-01-19-2004-14-29-48.jpg
I'm the one with the brown T-shirt on the left. Picture was taken by my friend Roland.

The reason why there's so many flashes, cameras and tripods on the table is because we were conducting an aquatic photography workshop for some of the members of www.aquaticquotient.com (http://www.aquaticquotient.com/aq_events/viewalbumpic.php?cat=9&id=199).

LOL, I know what you mean. I'm certainly not the blonde airhead type. In fact, those are the people I tend to despise in life. All I meant was that I've always been overly large in the "upper" regions, if ya know what I mean. I used to be a lot heavier and it wasn't as noticeable, but I've recently lost tons of weight. They didn't go anywhere, so now they're really obvious. When I said Barbie I meant the small waist in comparison to upper body.

Having a g/f like me can be quite the handful. Not only do I make him buy fish, I also told him that he can't get a chopper till I can have my own so we can ride together. [smilie=biggrin.gif] I'm also loud, cynical, and tend to think and act like a guy most of the time... [smilie=drunks.gif]

This is the best I can for a full shot of me. It was taken last September and I've lost quite a bit of weight since then. I was standing in the frame of a pond we are working on:

and you shouldn't smile in those pictures - if you had a smile it would ruin the whole atmosphere of the photos. Your boyfriend is pretty good at photography considering. I like the tree one!!

Thanks...

I wouldn't call myself the princess of darkness though. I like wearing goth stuff but I also know there's a time and place for everything. I have a pretty versatile wardrobe. I'm also not into painting my face white and all that crap either. Black just happens to be one of my favorite colors and New England has such a great old school gothic feel. I'm almost all English so it's pretty cool thing to live in a place that is still so close to "home."

When I say that my b/f sucks with the camera, he's fine with point and shoot, but he doesn't know how to tell a person what to do. You know, "raise you head a little bit, move your arm here," etc. Stuff like that.

cool - I was in New England at the end of last year to see the leaves change during Fall - it was really lovely over there and I'll post a link to some albums I have when I get my old personal site up and running (i've moved to a new host and things aren't working right at the moment). Its really strange that there are so many old English place names there and even the weather felt like home. One day I would really like to move over to the US - preferably the East cost area but the way the IT industry is at the moment its gonna be a while before I can get out there.

So anyway - you got any more pics? perhaps you should upload them to the album section?

Tell me about it...my b/f is a network administrator/consultant...he gets livid whenever someone starts talking politics and the fact that the IT field is moving overseas...thanks to our great bumbling oaf of a commander and cheif... [smilie=oops2.gif]

New England definately has an "Old World" feel about it. The weather, the scenery, the old stone walls and farms...it's great. Hell, I live in a Bristol! [smilie=lol.gif]

Yeah, I finally quit that habit. Haven't had a cigarette since 8 days before last Thanksgiving. About 5 and a half months.

My public service message: Hey kids, don't start in the first place, and you won't have to quit! Pretty much every smoker over the age of 18 wants to quit, but can't. I had probably quit and relapsed 20 times over the last few years before I finally quit for real.

I smoked for two years, and quit cold turkey. I don't understand how it's hard to do myself. My dad told me to stop one day and I did. I didnt get all angry and shaky or anything. Just wanted to do it out of habit and since I didnt allow myself to do it, I forgot about it and moved on with my life. It helps also to have a hobby or a friend who can take your mind off it.

Makaze

Agh, man, after about six years of smoking, quitting was the hardest thing ever for me. In the beginning, I'd get short-tempered, and just a horrible overall feeling of wrongness whenever I was sitting still. It was like there was this dry, scratchy layer of gauze in between my skin and muscles. . . . That was when I pretty much had to drop whatever I was doing and go run for a mile or 2, or see how many pushups I could do before collapsing. Agh, the worst part wasn't the physical part, but definately the pyschological aspect. Nicotine can be one mean monkey, depending on the personality of the addict.

I hear that.. I've been smoking 2 years... Started at like 13 and im still smoking like a pack a day... But, besides that, if you want to stop, and have the will to do it, you can...

Yup, all it really boils down to is stop putting that cig between your lips, and eventually the compulsion goes away.

Hello Everyone,
Here is a picture of my son Dyllan and myself. I had taken him on this day to a studio to have his portraits taken and he was terrified. So, I had picked him up to comfort him and they took this photo without me even knowing it and then surprised me with it. I am sure glad they did because it is my favorite photo of Dyllan and myself. He is sure my pride and joy!

Dracofish and Paradise,
I would like to know why in the H*@l all of the wonderful pictures of Dracofish are not showing up on my 'puter? All I am getting is a little X where the picture is supposed to be. It really sux hearing all these wonderful descriptions and I get my hopes up for the next picture to show up and all I get is another X. I think every picture of an ugly guy has showed up (No offense guys but....ya'll are not exactly leather and lace material) and Dracofish's pictures are the only one's not showing up. Is there some kind of parental control [smilie=censored.gif] I need to adjust on my 'puter or what? I am going nuts here just wondering!!!! :dump:

GIVE ME SOME PICTURES ALREADY, I am tired of looking at those little x's and having to use my imagination, although I must admit, so far it has been pretty good! [smilie=mf_laughbounce.gif]

Make note of the following :

1. I hate having my photo taken - I'm very uncomfortable in front of the camera
2. I was in a drug-induced depression - yup, my symptoms after coming off narcotics make me rather depressed. But, thats the price you pay for not wanting to be in excruciating pain for 4 days
3. It was days after my post-kidney stone pain that caused me a trip to the ER and doped up on morphine and other wonderful drugs phase - note the bruise on my right hand from the IV
4. The ferret I'm holding in my hands was struggling to get free and terrorize my feet (and the other ferret).

LOL, sorry, this is actually the first time I've checked back on this thread. I removed the pictures because I don't really look like that anymore. If you've read through the entire thread, I posted a bit about losing weight, which I still am. Those pictures were from April, so I've gone down a bit since then. That and the pictures were a tad embarrassing because they weren't the best shots of me in the world. I like the ones that I posted in the beginning of the thread, that are still up, much better.

We didn't get to meet them. I never realized how many crazy fans there are. I mean, there were girls and grown women screaming "I love you" to all the guys and some mother was even screaming about her "hot" daughter to Mike Campo. He actually came over and signed her chest...we saw her later and she was saying over and over "He shook my hand, he shook my hand..." while walking around in a daze. I never realized it was that bad. They had someone on a loudspeaker yelling every couple of minutes that they don't allow pictures with the guys or personalized autographs (at least not anymore). It's a shame that their fame has gotten to the point where they have to shield themselves from their fans...I mean, they had yellow caution tape across the guys for Heaven's sake! We didn't get an autograph either...we would have had to stand in line for literally four hours and probably not get one anyways as they were only signing for two. I don't think I'd want a "conveyor belt" signature anyways...it's not the same. They don't even look up at you because they're so busy and so many people are bothering them...they just sign and hand it over. When we saw Vinnie and Cody riding around on the scooter there was a crowd of people chasing after them...I could tell that they were getting aggravated, so I just kept my distance and shot a couple pics without getting in the way or bothering them. Pretty soon they're going to need armed guard escorts just to keep the crazy people off of them. I actually felt bad for them...I'd probably go insane.

I did manage to get a picture of Paul Jr. looking over his shoulder in my direction though...thought that was kinda cool...

Holy Cow! I never realized it was that bad either. I figured you could just go up and talk to them about their bikes and stuff. I never realized it would be such a madhouse. I mean the show is kinda cool to watch and everything but it is not like they are superstars are anything...well, sounds like maybe they are???

Well, I guess the price of their bikes have really went up since they have become such TV stars. Thanks for sharing your pictures and if you have any others please post them.

Yeah, unfortunately they are pretty much superstars now. I mean, there were women (and men for that matter...yikes) screaming that they wanted to have their babies and stuff. It was nucking futs. I like these guys for the art they make and would have loved to have met them close up, but I wasn't about to brave that sea of madness. You also couldn't say boo to them because they had tons of security around. It's like they were royalty or something.

As far as the pricing on their bikes, I believe that the minimum has stayed the same...starting at $45K or something like that for a base base, pretty much off their rack bike with no customization. The price probably goes up pretty quickly from there. I do think, however, that the fame won't go to their heads (*crosses fingers*) and they'll try to keep their bikes at least reasonably priced so you don't have to be a millionare to own one. Right now, if you can afford a high-end Harley, you can get an OCC bike. I've also heard that they're going to be introducing a kit line for people to have more access to their products.

I'm usually the one holding the camera, so I don't get into the picture too often. However my mother took this one of me which is not too bad. Of course it did require several weeks work by a team of highly skilled Photoshop retouchers, but I think it is now fit to be seen :)
