Hey guys. I haven't added any more light to this tank, so I decided to try and take a couple shots with the built in flash. I put tissue in front of the flash to knock it down a bit. Also, this tank is located above my larger tank and I have to use a step ladder to take the pix. Very difficult to hold the camera steady. Will this technique work until I get a SB800?

After you give me a good lashing (I can handle it), I have another series, without a flash, of a different subject you may critique me on.

You don't need me to tell you how much better these shots are. Actually the flash is quite weak because of the diffusion, so you're getting mixed lighting. I think this is why the shadows behind the fish look rather magenta (they are illuminated by the tank lighting only).
I don't know why that leleupi keeps yawning. Are you keeping him awake trying to get photos late at night? Or is he really laughing at the way you are poised on your stepladder?

You really have a keen eye to pick up the shadow color refferenced. I'm thinking it would be too much direct flash if it wasn't difussed a bit. Is that a mistake? I enjoy the yawning shots. I'll be very patient waiting for my subject to yawn. Come to think of it, I usually don't have to wait that long with people before they start yawning around me. Thanks Alan.
