Not a suggestion. Not a comment. I have a question about one of the forum subjects and I didn't know where else to ask.

Anyway, the question is...Do you all have a certain criteria you use before you decide to critique photos in the "Critique" forum? The reason I ask is because I noticed my shots have gone over four days without any response and was wondering if I should have not posted them due to certain standards or requirements. It's not that big a deal to me, but if there is a certain criteria to meet, I would like to know so that I don't waste anyone's time in the future. Yours or mine.

Hi,

no, iīm sure it was nobody's intention to ignore them. Actually you got responses in two of three threads.
In the third one (fryeri) you didnīt use flash, a topic that was discussed in one of the other threads - i think, using flash is the biggest chance to improve these photos.

LOL, coming from a guy who does not use flash at all (me) I agree that flash helps. I just have not gotten to it. But only off camera flash :-) All my pics are "available light" pics. You do lose a bit of sharpness but ...

As far as critique, there is nothing wrong with your post, it just got overlooked somehow. We do prefer (states in the rules) that "critique" posts have only one photo, the one you are trying to get a gauge of. but it's not strictly enforced so dont worry about it.

Is there a limit to how many threads you address? Somebody on the APF staff suggested using the "Critique Corner". I guess I have to wait till I take flash shots before I make another post.
Thanks.

Thanks for your help. I'll only post one shot at a time in the future. When I start using a flash.

Bobby, there are no limits, as long as it is on the subject, which your posts are. Dont fret, I dont honestly know how that one thread got unanswered it's just one of those things. IF you have a pic you really want to get help with, feel free to post. The reason we want one photo, is to keep it on the SPECIFIC subject. Instead of the regular threads ,where you also will get critique but in a more general manner.
