I have a Canon T70 that I love. I've always wanted to do close-ups but I don't have a close-up lens, nor do I have any experience with any. What might you recommend? I want something that will allow me to get shots of my bettas as well as things like flowers and insects in my garden.

How does 90mm macro sound to you? This is what I could turn up for you on Ebay, which I know isn't the best, but it's a start!

That camera uses FD mounts correct? Might want to take a look at this Vivitar:

Here's the Phoenix version of it (same price as Vivitar):

Canon also made some macro lenses for this mount, such as the 50mm f/3.5, 100mm f/4, 200mm f/4. You can read up more about them from this page (check the bottom, under special purposes FD lenses).

Here's one from Canon...

Comes with extension tubes too.
Cheers,

The Canon FD 200 mm F4.0 Macro is almost impossible to get. I would LOVE to get my hands on that lens.

Thanks for the advice. Yes, it does require FD mounts and there are not a lot of places that still carry the older models. There are a few places in town that sell used equipment so I'll see what I might find locally. I put a bid on one of the e-bay lenses as well.

Thanks for the link. The 200 mm are a bit beyond my budget but I ordered one of the 100 mm. Can't wait to get started.
