For quite a while now the only fish I had in my tank was an upside down catfish who never showed his whiskers. ;-) My husband brought home four guppies the other day. These little buggers are the dickens to photograph! But I finally got one I thought was decent enough to post. Tell me what you think, but don't be too brutal. I think the ISO is part of what killed me (along with not having a great lens for it . . . or an off-camera flash. . . or good lighting. . . ;-) ). On second thought, why am I posting this??? :-D

ISO 1600; f/4.5; 1/25 s; No flash; White Balance: Incandescent; LOTS of Photoshop Editing

Thanks!

Nice picture. Looks like you caught it just as it was about to head off in the other direction. Other than that the picture looks great, especially at such a high ISO setting. Were you handholding the camera? Also, might want to run it through a noise reducing software, if you haven't done so already.

It's not a great shot: but I couldn't do nearly as well with a guppy at 1/25s and f/4.5!

I think it's a pretty good shot, the reflection is a very cool effect so I like the composition, but the ISO kills it

Think you already know the answer if you want it better.
