lol i laugh since the official release date isn't till march 20.
so in reality they're taking pre-orders ;)
our store is accepting pre-orders, amazon, b+h, adorama are all notifiying its coming soon.
so I doubt that you can actually get your hands on it - so people may be misled at this point.
That's what I thought also, but then I went further ahead into taking a look at it. I talked to a salesperson over the phone and he said that they got them unexpectedly before hand. I asked him to verify how many are in stock and he came back with the number of 18 left ready to be shipped out.
It's only available as a kit though (see link) in the silver color.

i dunno, i'd still be cautious of it.
it seems odd that one or two retailers have some, but none of the big retailers (bh, adorama, ritz etc) have any yet.
edit : when i originally clicked the link just before my first post, they said that they were low on stock. I now check and its suddenly in stock, which means there must be more.
sounds a little odd to me.
course, i'll find out tomorrow when i go back to work - i'll check our warehouse to see if they have any yet, or get a release date...
I find it interesting as well. As for doing business with OneCall, I don't mind it at all. It's actually where I picked up my D70 from. They also called me awhile back in regards to my purchase and asked me if I was happy with the camera. Never had that happen to me before and it was a refreshing change.

They have 9.46 rating with 467 lifetime reviews on resellerratings website. This is very impressive ! I would trust them.
