Amidst the waves of changes that are sweeping through APF recently, some of you might think that it’s great and probably not going to get any better than this. However, we regret to inform you that the best is yet to be.
APF is proud to announce the new bi-weekly thematic workshops for both the Aquatic Photography Gallery as well as the General Photography Gallery.
For the Aquatic Photography Gallery, we present “The Way I See This” aka TWIST. Do take note that this is not about taking pictures of fishes (although we certainly won’t discourage you). It’s about seeing things related to fish keeping in a different way, be it your filter, that piece of driftwood sitting in a corner.
For the General Photography, we present “So NOT Aquatic Photography” aka SNAP. The sky is the limited here, or should we say your creativity? Themes presented here can be interpreted as you wish (as long as it’s not offensive). Equipment is no longer as an advantage if you don’t have an eye for it.
These are NOT contests but exercises in imagination, discovery and creativity. In other words, there are no winners or losers, only photographers. Nobody is wrong; everybody can have a personal perspective on the theme.
Do look out for detailed announcement in the respective sections.
