hi iWynx. i'd say there is a lot of potential here. i'd recommend trying to use either a faster shutter, or smaller aperture - or perhaps some exposure compensation. the background is overexposed, and makes a pretty big distraction. also, the white balance appears a little off, but it could just be my eyes. this photo is also a tad on the soft side, but you managed to get equal sharpness across the whole fish... which is a bonus. try to get the eye pin sharp, expose a little better, and maybe a white balace correction - and you are in there. i like the oof fish in the background. thanks for sharing :)

Agree with Hir0's suggestions. Good start on such a small and often overlooked rasboras.

Lovely little fish :-) I agree with everything that hir0 has said - except that I don't think the other fish adds anything as it's so far out of focus. It's an achievement to get a really nice photo of one of these little fellows - it's 10x harder to get a good shot of two!

Beautiful photo!

Hir0's suggestions are good. The overexposed background killed the dorsal and tail fins IMO.

I would prefer not to have the background "out-of-focus fish" though - IMO, doesn't add any value to the shot.

You'll probably need to clone out those 'white dirt particles' in the photo. :)
