I am very impressed with your abilities with PS and your apparent willingness to help others .
I have a question for you . I convert from RAW to PSD and get my photo just like I want it . When I save for web it goes flat and changes color a little . What am I doing wrong ? It does this about 50% of the time .
you are using a different color profile than that is used for web. if you have your image open and click the edit tab at the top, look under color settings. try changing it to different profiles and you will probably see the difference.

As I have learned more I don't mess with the ones that aren't pretty close anymore .
I remembered Ed using lab color when he was having trouble . So I tried doing what ever I wanted to do first then hit lab color just before save for web and it worked perfect , nothing changed .
sorry Ron, i'm confused. do you still have a problem? or is it resolved?

Yeah, You should always switch to SRGB Profile before saving for web :) I figured that out.
