Hi everyone. It's been a while since I last posted here. I had a chance to take a few shots of my kois in the pond this weekend and this one seem to be the best capture. Share with everyone here. Critiques are welcome. Thanks.

Typical koi feeding frenzy :) Produce a very colourful shot which almost looks like abstract art. The fish look in great conditions and have some lovely colours to them. One problem I encountered while trying my first attempt at koi a couple of weeks back was surface glare. I wonder if a polarizing filter would help there, in a similar way to anglers using polarizing sunglasses.

cheers

rich, you said it all. i like this shot, very colorful indeed. and yes a polarizing filter can help on water surface glare.

Nice shot - I'm not very familiar with American football, bit it looks to me as if the kohaku was offside at the line of scrimmage.

Love the flurry of colors and movement. LOL, Alan...looks like a false start there.

Thats a great shot. Even with the reflection there, but it add's to the color, IMO.

Thanks for the critique guys. I'm using a Canon S500, nothing fancy. But I'll look to see if they have one of them polarize filter for my camera.

Nice shot. Lovely koi you have there too. :)

I'm not familiar with American Football either, but the Forward looks like he's 'leaping' over the defensive wall.
