Hey all,

Am new to this photo business, and new-er to this forum. But its fantastic from what i see.

I have a Canon G3, which to be fair i do hate. I find it very hard to use and take half decent pics with. My dad had a D70 which within 5 mins of using took photos much better than i thought i ever could. And this may not be becuase of camera, just found it easier to use, and it had an extra flash on top.

I was to purchase an extra flash for the camera, but obviously on a 'student' budget (tight as a mouse's ear hole i think is the expression). i want the flash to be positioned where i like, but because of the straight built in flash of the camera, not sure a slave flash will pick it up due to the angle. Does any one have any recomendations?

Thanks for your help

Christian

Christian,

I used Canon G2 and had successful photographs. Post some pictures and let us help you. This is a great camera !!!

I know James aka. Finz used G1 and G3 if I'm not mistaken and produced great stuff as well.
