Paul it's a great shot, But it's hard to see because of the size. Can you please resize to at most 800 wide.
I also think it could use some USM.

What is USM?

nice Rhom. USM = unsharp mask in Photoshop. It's used to sharpen the image.

Thanks Hiro. I did a quick "fix" on the image, running it though a slight USM, and also using the "dodge" tool in Photoshop to lighten the dark areas to even out the exposure. It's very easy to have an uneven exposure on a fish that is vertically compressed.

hey Paul. The caribe picture has White balance issues, it's too yellow. A simple "color balance" adjustment to take some yellow out would help, I dont know the exact colors of that fish so I wont attempt. Also, i dont know if you cropped this image, but I would leave much more room on the left side, it feels like it's about to hit a wall. natural progression in the image is very important. Composition is one of the keys to a good image.

These pictures look nice and sharp (especially after USM). Might want to diffuse the flash in the future; it looks pretty harsh.

On the Rhom there was no flash and on the Caribe there was!

Hmm...thought that there was in the first one as well. I can see the shadows in the plants and behind the finnage of the fish. Was there any other source of light?
