I had some left, so I bought a couple of more.. But when these are dead I'm going to invest in rechargables..

really nice shots there Alexander. I'm guessing you can see the difference the flash makes.

I`m guessing you have some WB problems. (And i dont thionk its my monitor, but that can be checked in a few days when i get it calibrated with a spyder :D)
All pic`s have a yellow cast.

#1 is my favorite oif this batch.
#2 Is not sharp

Thanks guys.
You're right Roy, I wouldn't call it a problem, could easily be fixed both in the camera and the fact that I'm shooting RAW.

#2 isn't sharp? In my eyes the eye is in perfect focus, should I get glasses?
There's not much DOF, so it's OOF beneath the eye, an effect that leads you towards the eye..

Alex, #2 is sharp on the eye, but below it it's all blurry.

Ment to say that i would prefer a tad more DOF.
But by all means, its a good photo, Alex ;)

Thanks, but you're right. Either a little more DOF or a tighter crop maybe.

#1 is nice. Great view of the fangs.

#3 is nice too. A view of the fish's mouth 'dropping'. :D

#4 is neat, but I think needs a tighter crop - crop off more of the right side of the photo. My focus is drawn to the eye and the mouth, so IMHO there is too much space on the right of the photo.

White balancing seems a bit on the yellow side overall ... but I guess it's due to the water right?

Nice pics Alexander. What mode were you in? Total manual, Apeture???? How many flashes?

Thanks :) WB is due to me, not the water.
Pictures were taken in full manual with one flash, SB-800.

Excellent pictures with effective composition.

Seems just a tad too yellowish.

Cheers,

Thanks :) I see that now. These were edited before I calibrated my monitor.

What a great set of images, I have been away from this site for a while and the overall quality of the shots is really great.
Did you shoot in RAW. If so the colour balance could be adjusted in PS if you have CS2 as I agree with the other guys that there is a little yellow cast across the images.
