I posted a pic in a thread in the aquatic pets forum but someone said the color was off.

Here is a link to the zipped tif (http://scm_tourney_boards.tripod.com/shrimp1.zip) as it was saved from the camera.
Anyone interested in working on it? The picture I posted was cleaned with Neat Image.

Can't do much except for color correction. Only the head of the shrimp is in focus.

Here's my attempt to remove the green cast mannually for a more natural look. Auto level in Adobe Photoshop doesn't seem to work. Aspect ratio left as it is, photo was resized to 600 pixel for the forum.

Incidentally, it's a malayan shrimp carrying eggs.

Hi Ed,

Tried to link the original image over for comparison, but it's not allowed. Too big I think. Kinda hard to compare the changes if the original is not on the same page. Anything you can do?

Cheers,

You guys are good... I'm still reading the Neat Image manual...it seems I built the noise filter for my camera incorectly. [smilie=oops2.gif]

Benny, the shrimp wasn't carrying eggs. Malayan shrimp though, that's good to know. I tried to move the pic link over to this forum too, I was surprised that the pic size limit changes.

ccplim I don't know why you can't open the link, I pay for that site to allow downloads.

I suspect might due to my company firewall. I just tried downloading from home. It's okay.

The reason the images were now scaled down to 600x450 is because:
a. we have added the side navigation system (which will be expanded with more features soon)
b. for quicker download by members with slower connections. 600x450 is a great size for pics, anything bigger than that just takes too much room anyways. It wont be a problem once everyone knows to do it that size.

Oh, and I stopped using Netimage completely. I think once you get your pic quality up significantly, you dont need it anymore and it makes your pics look artificial, and unnatural.
