For all those who own Canon (and I know there are quite a few here :) ), just thought that I'd pass this along. If you don't have a flash for your setup, then this could possibly some of the best money spent, especially for aquatic photography. LOL! you guys have too much $$$. i'm thinking about getting a couple more flashes. but i think i'd have to compromise and get sb-600's

oh, yeah, sure, Hiro, I am not the guy who just spent $ ???? (number withheld) for a tripod top :)
Oh, and until this one (which I was salivating at when benny and I were playing with his) I have been using the Good Ole' 420ex which is so old it's made of wood :)
BTW, this one was my birthday/xmas present from my mom, just like the 12-24 was my wife's gift.

That's a good offer! I remember paying US$485 per set, despite taking 5 set at a go. No bulk purchase discount....... Now that's more that US$150 off!!!!!!
Do bear in mind that compared to the 550 EX and the 420 EX, the 580 EX is not as solidly built, but definitely smaller and lighter.

UPDATE: They are OUT of them, after taking my order. Promised they will ship on or before 15th. I hope they are right and get it to me. I need it for my NYC trip.
