View Full Version : Preview window off in save???

Have a question for some of you about saving for the web in Photoshop. Although it doesn't seem to make a difference on the posted image, I notice that in the preview window that the image is usually underexposed a bit. Since it hasn't affected the posted image, I haven't been too concerned. However I have had someone else bring it to my attention and would like to discover the reason for this scenario.

Please advise.

i think that the reason is because what you are viewing during your editing. try this. with the image open, click view->proof setup -> monitor RGB. you should see what you see when you save your image. of course, i could be way off here.

Not yet Hir0. Just got back from the docs. I'll give a shot in a little while and let your know.

Hir0, I just did the steps you described above. You are right....again. The image actually changed when I did the RGB Monitor selection. So I should use this step everytime I process an image? If that is the case, I have been doing all my work using the wrong visual display. :confused:
