APF UK Meet

Just in the process of making some arrangements for a UK meet of APF members. The venue will be the Sealife Centre in Birmingham on Sunday 23rd October. This has been chosen as its is relatively central in England (although still not great for any scottish members!!!) I am currently awaiting to see if the aquarium will provide us with a group discount and whether any special arrangements can be made to assist in our photography and make the day of more interest by seeing behind the scenes. If the SLC do not appear too keen by us descending upon them then I will look for an alternative venue but the date will remain fixed.

Hi Folks

I have spoken to the manager of the Sealife Centre who has kindly agreed to allow the group free entry to the Sealife Centre in Birmingham (normal entry fee is £11 for an adult).

In exchange he would like to have some copies of the best photographs taken during the visit for their photographic library, as some of their library photos are not of a great quality

Seems a good deal to me !!!!!

It would be a good idea to get an indication of numbers, so can all those intending to go please pm me.
