We have questions about the use of photoshop everyday . This is a photography site . With all the fantastic talent here , couldn't we have an ARTICLE on using photoshop and getting the most out of it . I find it very difficult going back and finding little pieces of info and trying to piece them together .
Ed , hirO , Ibn and others come up with things fairly often that blow me away .

My idea would be an ongoing ARTICLE where info could be added to constantly as people come up with new and different ways to accomplish things . It may have to be organized occasionally but that wouldn't take long if people fitted their ideas in where they belonged as they added .

This site is growing fast and I think that would be just one more thing to draw new members .

Not a bad idea, Ron. We have a few Photoshop tutorials already in the Articles, but it's pretty slim. Maybe different peoples' illustrated workflows. Anyone, guys? I am sure everyone has a different method, I just read Eric's and it's nothing like what I do. Far more advanced than anything I know. Would be great to see it illustrated. All it takes are screenshoots (PrtScn button :) ) and descriptions.

Hmm...another thing to put down on the list of things to do. :)

I'll put something together soon. It's much easier and faster to do than to go into details.

see, this is the thing about photoshop. there are many ways to get the same result. it's kinda like driving to work. you can go the same route every day, or you can decide to go a different road if you want to. the best thing to try and do is figure out what your options are, and use the method that is best for you. photoshop is an extremely powerful tool, and by no means is a simple program. you can use it for years and still not use all it's features. but like most things in life, the more you use it, the more it makes sense. if you want to learn something in photoshop, please post in this (http://aquatic-photography.com/forum/showthread.php?p=36517#post36517) thread.
