Even though this photo was a bit trimmed, just like the Aquatic one, nothing would stand in it's way. Very original capture and a great striking image. Congratulations, Bjarne.

Great competition this month, I thought at least the top 3 could have gone either way.

Now, we just need to increase the submissions for this contest, we only had 12 this month, comparing with 20 for the aquatic one.

Nice job Bjarne. Was my pick too. Still not sure exactly what the fly is sitting on. Some animal I guess?

Sunset. The sun is just above the horizon behind the flower. Taken near by downtown Haugesund (my hometown), westcoast of Norway.

Ed, a good way to get nice sillouettes is to meter for the sky (without the sun in the frame) either manually - or lock exposure.
