Roy,
Can you be more specific. I have no idea what you are talking about.
if you are referring to the photo of the month contests look here (http://aquatic-photography.com/cgi-bin/voting/vote.pl?overview=1?)

I think he is referring to the contest software. Is that what you are asking Roy?

Roy, big fish photo vote is a custom Server side software designed by Andreas' friend Carsten for use on Andreas' and our site. I am not aware if he's licensing it for use elsewhere.

ah, yes that was what i was asking about ;)
Thx, Paradise.
Maybe he sees this and can answer to the license thing?
I would love to use this on a Norwegian aquatic forum, running vBulletin.

*bump*
If not, maybe you could reccomend another script for fotocontests in vBulletin?

"BigFish Photo Vote" is a perl script I originally wrote for Andreas' website (and he paid for it). Then I adapted it to paradise' site (and he paid for it, too). So, it's not open source or freeware. But you can you use it if you also pay a small fee. ;) The amount depends on the work I will have (writing templates, installing on the server, implementing brand new features ...). By the way: the script isn't a real plugin for vbulletin, it only uses the authorization cookie of vbulletin or phpbb and writes its data to the same mysql database.

I would also like to know that.
Prefer a free one, offcourse :)
But i gotta say, this big fish thing is very nice, i have to discuss this with the owner of the forum first.

Roy, I love BF, though it's not for everyone. Yeah, it's powerfull and ever growing, but it requires a certain amount of manual labor every month to make it work. Takes me about an hour per contest or more depending on the number of entries. Lots of work in PS and then manually placing the info into the files. But for us, it's definitely worth it.
