Old CA coast pics

Here are a few pics from my old station (I'm USAF) in CA along Rt. 1 near Carmel They were taken using my old 1.8 mavica, that thing lasted forever.

This was way before I knew how to take a picture, but it's funny cause the place was so pretty you could pretty much point the camera anywhere and it would be a great picture

Yep, I live in LA, so on the way up to SF, as soon as you pass Oxnard, this is what you get, all the way up the 101, amazing and beautiful country. When I go to SF, it's a bit faster to take the 5 freeway through the mountains, but at least one way, I always take the 101 scenic route (through Carmel, right?) to enjoy the view.

Yeah, the 101 intertwines with Rt. 1 a lot :)
