I play guitar, bass guitar, drums, and a lil piano but guitar is first in my heart :)
What does everybody else play and what is your fav orchestral piece?
I put what seem like normal instruments to me on the poll, if you play something different, post it below!
I cant say that I have ever played a musically instruments, except in grade school when we had to bring home those recorder things...

I have 3 guitars, but am a hobbyist (at best). Have played bass, but only when ABSOLUTELY necessary.

I usually play through a Line 6 (AX2-212) or direct into a Yamaha powered mixer, with a couple of big Peavey speakers.
I have a couple of harmonicas, but haven't had much luck with them yet.

I've played guitar since I was 6 years old.
I have a Vox standard model 24 electric
as well as a 1950's vintage Framous acoustic.
I also dabble with harmonica and mandolin from time to time.

I don't play any instruments but I do sing. Not that it's my favorite type of music...but I sing Sarah Mclachlan and Dido well. My b/f says that I sound just like them, and he's not the type to lie for the sake of saving feelings.
I played [smilie=fear2.gif] accordeon [smilie=fear2.gif] as a child. Parents made me. Can play piano a bit also. Sing only when I am drunk , so pretty often actually [smilie=drunks.gif]
The only thing I play are CDs on my CD player. Shame..

I played the violin for 4.5 years, but quite that before going into high school. As of late I've been consitering picking up another instrument, but haven't decided what yet.

I play:
electric guitar, <-- having lessons
classical guitar, <-- having lessons
piano, <-- having lessons
bass, <-- will have lessons once I'm grade 8 electric guitar (I'm not made of money!)
viola. <-- used to have lessons, miss them now so as soon as I find a private tutor I'll start up again

Inkfish, for a 'hobbyist at best' you have one hell of a good setup!
Pooky, I suggest the piano, it's got a real feel-good factor when you can go round someone's house, be persuaded into playing something on their piano and then gratefully applauded, even if you don't think you played very well...
