View Full Version : how do i enhance a single object

I like this image...but i want the apple and maybe the leaves on top of the apple to stand out...

I have Corel psp X... but have no clue how to just enhance the parts I want to...

Hi CaroL,

I think the problem is the same that your other message in this area: the DOF.

Looking your pics, seems an aberture problem: you use a too much closed one. Also, seems you use a medium tele, about 70mm more or less and this add another question: the perspective.

Perhaps with psp or psCS get you want, but I'm sure that there's nothing like a good shot. Composition rules are to forget them, but firstable you have to know and practise a lot with them. One of my favorite compositions rules is "less is more", I never forget it.

I would take the shot another time but using a tele (more than 105mm) and 2.8 of aberture. Also I would be far away from the apple. In my head only one point of interest and don't shot until I find it: looking at the four squares and making sure that inside are only what I want.
