No offense to the other wonderful entries, but Jay's capture stood much taller than the rest. Looking at the high score it received, I believe most voters felt the same.
Congrats on a fantastic shot Jay.
This is a superb shot. Stood above the others. No wonder you were able to win another contest with it. ;)

LOL, when I saw this shot about a week prior to submissions, I told Jay he had to include it in this month's contest. THat shot will win a lot of competitions. I know two of it has already won, Jay, share.
My other 10 in the contest was for Alex's piece. I thought it was plain AWESOME! Both Jay and I were blown away by it, we discussed it a bunch when the entry came in. Surprized it did not do better. I liked the butterfly, too, and it's 100% clean, but I thought it was a bit similar in color, blended w/the background a bit.

Awww, thanks Jay and Ed.
Jay: Your submission stood the tallest, and I had no problem giving it my 10 at all!
It's a killer shot! Congratulations.
I was told there was some kind of story to it aswell?

Congrats Jay! (Everybody has a soft spot for our 'distant cousins' too!)
I also loved Alan's capture of the lizard - talk about attention to detail! :-D

I think we have some Javan langur fans around here. Jay and I have both won with shots of this species. There's something very appealing about them - they are rather ugly, but very photogenic.
There was a good range of subjects this month, and I thought the general quality was high. My top mark went to Bjarne's butterfly; but I think we all did well (just not quite as well as Jay :-)).

Thanks all for your feedback.
As for as the "story", there is really nothing mystere about it. I was fortunate to win a Photo Of The Week on Nature's Best Photography website. This place gets about 50 submissions weekly and 12,000 submissions for annual internation contest. They specilize in Nature photography. I was also fortunate to win annual subscription to the magazine by winning that contest. Very pleased with the outcome. Here is a snapshot from that week.

Yep, that is the one. Congrats on both, bud. Now, share with the users the rest of that Amazing session, which I was fortunate to see a couple of weeks ago. It's time now :) (And I want to see them again :) )
