Hi - anyone know what's the best battery option for the 420EX flash?

WEll, it's AA batteries, so rechargables are much better than reg. alkalines. I have 2 chargers w/4 each, and keep swapping them in and out for my two flashes.

cheers for the quick reply Ed - going for 4x2000mAh Ni-MH AAs then (plus overnight charger)

Rayovac makes a 15 minute fast charger that I use with there special 2000 NIMH 15 minute rechargable batteries. They are fantastic in my SB800. I think the charger was $30 at Kmart and the batteries were kinda of expensive for AA rechargables. But I have ten batteries that work great and fast to recharge.

cheers guys - just ordered a Uniross 90min charger with 4x2500s for £24 from battery-force.co.uk (thanks Rich). Some of the big chain stores round here are charging £35-40 for the exact same unit - wouldn't price match though :-(
