Now that the UK and NYC meets are done, how about doing one in Cali.
We have several great aquariums around here.
In Long Beach, there is the amazing Aquarium of the Pacific. Been there, great place to hang around for a day.
Also, always wanted to visit the Monterey Aquarium up north. I would be able to do either, specially if it's the weekend.
IF you are interested, let's discuss here and make the arrangements. I will contact the place we pick and will ask them for a "deal" for us.
I'm up for either, Ed. Just gotta know in advance so that I don't book anything on that weekend (just got a booking for April of 2006...).

I am not sure when this meeting is going to take place, but I am going to be near Long Beach for a week around Christmas and I would attend then.

Me too, very slim chance though, it is a long journey :D
i don't get to post much here but i enjoy looking at all the amazing photography, and i enjoy talking about photography, and i enjoy taking pictures... count me in!

Scripps Institute just north of SanDiego is a nice aquarium also ,i was pleasently surprised when i went there . I also agree that Long Beach Aquarium is quite nice , and the big daddy of course in Monterey.
I'll be in LA sometime in April. Dates to come :)

Doubt I'd make a socal trip anytime soon.

ZS, I really want to. I may have to make a special trip sometime this spring. Maybe Eric and I will hook up and do a Winery tour too. I love Napa :) Havent been to Honig in 2 years, almost out of their amaizng wines. :)
Whoa...didn't even know that someone was in Napa. ZS, let me know if you're heading down to Monterey. Always fun shooting with others.

Alex, come down, it looks like it 's the last weekend in March (almost for sure).
i've already put in for that time frame. if i get approval from my employer, i will buy tickets right away. :)
hey guys. things are looking good for me. 2 of the 4 possible people I'll be working for has told me it won't be an issue. I'll be there from March 28 - April 4 it looks like.
