I want to take some quality pictures with my digital rebel. Which mode would you recommend using for full tank shots. M - Av - Tv - P? How do I tweek the pictures using the white balance etc? Thanks in advance.

I always use M mode to take aquatic photos no matter what kind of shot I want to take (close up or full tank). As for white balance mode, I switch among auto WB, K, and Customed. It depends on the lighting sources you use. You might want to try few runs to decide which mode is the best for your tank setup.
