You did get that eye to shine. So nice work there.
The composistion is farely interesting, so plus there.

I'm not one hundred percent on that harsh shadow from the mouth and down.

It is a very interesting image - but a little more light around the mouth would have improved it in my opinion.

Thanks! I was worried about the shadow as well... I was trying to actually go for an even more restricted "strip" of light across the face and eye, but you know how cats are. I probably took 6 dozen shots to try and get one just right.
