Well, first I would like to explain myself.
You all must think there's something not quite right upstairs.
You know, taking pictures of eggs that get killed, tomatoes that get killed and other lifeless stuff I've killed to get a shot of it.
Well, I can insure you, you're not all wrong!
But I've got an excuse for this rubber worm in an apple thing.

You see, it's shot for a competition I'm entering. A macro competition where the theme is candy.
And with my creativeness, this is amongst the first things I could think of. You don't want to know the other things I thought of. I don't want to tell ya anyways.

I chose the candy green background because..it kind of fits the theme...Candy you know..
Hope I didn't bore you all with my writing. It's what I do 10PM when I have nothing to do, write stupid pointless amusing to some (myself) texts.

Heres the image!

I'll let you all know how the contest goes!

Interesting that your frame shadow goes the other way fromt he shadow in the image. Have you considered lining the two up?

You should have stuck those small plastic googly eyes on the worm for a more comical feature, and did you consider using a toffee apple as this would have fit the theme and given it a better twist. Jelly worm coming out of a toffee apple - sugar-sugar, etc.

Cheers - you have so many clever ideas and good tallent Alex.

Very clever ideas I haven't even though of there Steve.
I've never seen a toffee apple though.

And which shadows are you reffering too? How could I line 'em up?

Thank you for the constructive critisism mate.

I think he means that the shadow from the worm is going to the right, and the frame shadow as a whole is going to the left. ;)

Yup Janna - that is what I was talking about. Move the shadow on the frame to the right hand side from the left hand side. It may make no difference - just an idea.

Do you not have toffee aples in Norway Alex? We have them in many supermarkets in Australia.

Oh, I didn't read the "frame" part earlier.
Sure, I could try that.

I guess we have 'em, but they're not that common (?).
I'm not that big on candy anyways. I'd rather eat the apple.

we have caramel apples here. you melt the caramel, put the apple on a stick, dip it into the caramel then roll it in chopped peanuts! yummmm!

Is this the candy contest on DA? I will keep my eye out for your apple entry. I haven't yet gotten any good shots to use yet.
