Actually Ed, this was about 4PM.
The sun sets pretty early so far north at winter.

One of your best, Alex. I've looked at it for a minute and now I can hardly feel my toes ;)

Thanks Alan :) Happy to give you a chill.
good stuff Alex. i haven't been able to view this photo until now since many sites are blocked @ my workplace. was looking forward to seeing this one. great shot.
Great picture!
That describes our frozen weather quite good ;)
Great shot, Alex. Love the composition on this one. There's a small white circle in the lower left hand corner (clone it out or burn it, perhaps?), which is really nit picking, but for a shot like this, I think it would be worth it. :)
Interesting to see the swirls in the ice formation. Looks quite a bit like a slow shutter speed typically used for flowing water shots.

I agree there. Had to look twice because of that, and just that makes it a great and creative picture :)

Spot on Do!
This is actually a long exposure of water. Great eye.
And yeah, that really is nit picking...But I'll probably get around to do it, because now it's annoying me, thanks man! :)
