New Forum layout, what do you think?

Some info on the new layout. It's basically a graphic layout for the frontpage.

It's still a work in progress. One thing that will be very different, are those black squares next to each forum. They are placeholders for the eventual forum Icons. Each forum will have its own unique and appropriate forum icon, which will be in color if the forum has new posts or in black/white if it doesnt.

The biggest reason was to more logically arrange the forums, with having as little Subforums as possible, and yet more easily recognizable and logical. I think it works pretty well. There is still a bit of room to tweak it though.

I found it pretty confusing on first use. Looks like I need so time to get use to....

it is a little busy, you kinda have to search for the category you want a bit. good thing for the new posts link.

Really, because I made sure the categories were more arranged by Area, and did not blend in. Aquatic stuff is separate from the gen. stuff, and the more technical forum areas are separated too.

I think it's just your eyes are used to it. Let's see how it goes after a while. I think it's targeted towards new users better. The lack of subforums I think is the MOST important improvement. I know I hated having subforums, they always got Less traffic.
