I think you're right, so I've moved this thread.

Please note that most of us started by taking photos like this one (or to be strictly truthful in my own case, rather worse than this :redface:). You need to experiment with focus and lighting; don't expect miracles but with study and care your photos will improve.

Think you for the tips..with this in mind i took 20 more pics..........the detail is a lot better i think.but the light went dark...i like them...you can see the snails.

kevin, I edited a few of your pics. There were way too many URL and IMG tags. If you are using the "gallery insert" feature, make sure to use inline image, not thumbnail. Also do it only once per image.

You are learning, the last shot is already better than the first. Keep listening to advice here and you will get it .
