Well, since Ed has posted his, guess it's my turn. :)

Here are some available light shot pushing high ISO on the D200. I'm still quite amazed by how well the camera handles high ISO (none of these have been through any sort of noise reduction software).

Really love the comical pose of this fish. :D ISO 1000 and last high ISO shot for now.

The rest of them are here. I'm getting some weird artifacts after uploading them online. Weird stuff since I don't see them until after they're uploaded...

Very nice shots Eric. Looks like you and the D200 are becomeing close friends. My favorites are the camo fish and the grouper?.

Compression from the image host. Try the same image with another host and compare.

Love the jellyfish! Almost surreal!

Cheers,

agree w/benny, put some up on our gallery server and compare, we do no compression.

Very weird. pBase usually doesn't compress images, but in this case it did for some and not others. :/

Here are some more.

Thanks, Andreas. Unfortunately, I didn't take any shots of the surrounding environment. :(

Thanks, bud. Yeah, you missed some of the better displays near the end and on the 2nd level.

Eric,

Very Very nice ! Can you describe your camera setting, flash position ?

Thanks, Bobby and Jay.

As for camera settings, for the available light stuff, I just used the 50 1.4D (used this a LOT during the trip) and stopped it down to f/2. All shot in aperture priority, AF-C, and ISO at 1000 max (800 for quite a few).

For the ones with the flashes, just shot them at ISO 100, f/8, SB-800 on hotshoe, pointed at 60 degrees angle, and that's pretty much it. The ones shot in commander mode, I just kept the flash in front of the direction where the fish were swimming/facing and everything else remained the same.
