Hi folks...wondered if any of yoos guys n' gals could help me out. My friend is looking into buying a new digi-camera and can't quite make his mind up. He's thinking of either, the Olympus Camedia C-50 and the Olympus C-500.....does anyone have expereince with either of these cams?? Can anyone advise??
I don't have both, but, I'd checked the spec. on dpreview.com. I can't find the C-500. However, I found C-5000 there (correct me if I'm wrong). I supose you are talking about C-50 & C-5000. Infact, I found both are nearly the same. However, one parameter got my attention, which is the macro shot range. The closest macro range of the C-50 seems only has 20cm, while C-5000 has 4cm. I think this leads to the conclusion, coz 20cm is indeed not enough for the aqua macro shot.
